Congratulations to Coldwell Banker West Shell VP of Business Development, Janet Davis, for her transition from management back to sales. Thank you for all of your great leadership guidance over the years, and we couldn’t be happier for you to return once again to supporting people with one of the biggest investments of their lives: a home.
Be sure to read the below feature story that highlights all of Janet’s incredible achievements over the years.
From day one, Janet Davis has been focused on making a difference in Cincinnati – the city she so proudly calls home. After more than three decades of a successful real estate career and an unwavering commitment to community involvement, Janet can now look back, and confidently say that she has succeeded, but in her eyes, she has only just begun.
Upon graduating from the University of Cincinnati, Janet could be described much like the city itself – full of passion and limitless amounts of potential. Not long after graduating, she received her license, associated with Coldwell Banker West Shell’s Hyde Park office, and as they say: the rest is history. Janet spent six years honing her sales skills and building lasting relationships as an agent, before taking an inspirational leap into leadership – becoming one of the first female managers in Cincinnati real estate.
From there, her talents and proven tracker record for success shined, allowing her the ability to take on a variety of positions including regional manager, executive vice president, and most recently vice president of business development. Janet simultaneously worked to elevate the presence of the CBWS Charitable Foundation, and continuously strived to support its efforts through such initiatives as the Cincinnati Reds Split the Pot and Match Programs. And Janet’s innate ability to selflessly give back to the community didn’t end there. She founded Kindervelt, which has grown into a prominent, city-wide volunteer organization that supports the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Additionally, Janet has been a proud member of the Children’s Heart Association since 1970, where she has served as the president in two separate terms, and was heavily involved in the Jr. League of Cincinnati for over 40 years.
Even after so many years supporting the industry/community, Janet has no plans to stop lending a hand to these institutions she’s passionate about. Even though her duties will now focus solely on sales, she couldn’t be prouder of her family for carrying on her immense legacy as they grow their own careers within real estate, and beyond.
